PATANA SCHOOL PHASE II A GREENER FUTURE

ENERGREEN ASIA & BANGKOK PATANA SCHOOL PHASE II

A GREENER FUTURE AND COMMITTED TO WELL-BEING

After the completion of a PHASE I large solar rooftop installation with 2,160 panels on top of school´s three buildings which producing a incredible 702 kilowatts of clean energy in 2018, the success of these installations are main part of its commitment to student well-being.

The success of these solar panels encouraged the school to install PHASE II more solar arrays on another 9 buildings this summer, bringing the school´s energy generating capacity to 1.9MW. The electricity produced will not only power the buildings on which they sit but will also provide electricity to other buildings nearby.

The most recent proyect started as an idea instigated by the student Environmental comittee and was executed thanks to the strong green commitment of school management. Once again Energreen Asia was awarded as the EPC Company, and worked closely together with the school to design and install the solar rooftops considering challeging issues such as surrounding shadows. Project leaders and engineers modelled the installation with students, imparting first hand, understanding and knowledge.
